Our annual Youth Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Rules:
1) Participants must be 3-15 years old inclusive.
2) All participants must be registered.
3) The Fishing Derby officially begins at 10:00AM (No fishing before)
4) Fishing ends at Noon.
5) Observe and respect other people around you.
6) Alcohol or controlled substances are NOT allowed at this event.
7) Adults please let the kids fish by themselves as much as possible.
8) Fish must be caught from shore. Boats, floats and rafts of any kind are not permitted.
9) One pole per child.
10) All fish caught must be taken to the Pavilion for official scoring.
11) The winners will be determined by number of fish caught and by longest fish in each age group.
12) Age groups will be 3-5, 6-9, and 10-15 years old inclusive.
13) Prize for biggest fish determined by length (to nearest 1/4”).
14) Winners need to be present to claim their awards.
15) All ties will be subject to a random drawing.
16) All decisions made by event coordinators are final.
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the event.
