The Black River Game Club is an Ohio hunting and conservation club with lease agreements between the Club and Farmer Members in Southern Lorain and Northern Medina Counties.

We stock club farms with Ring-necked Pheasant roosters during the open hunting season. Other club activities include, Farmer Appreciation Dinners and Outreach programs such as Hunter Education courses and an annual Youth Fishing Derby.

Our By-Laws state:

ARTICLE II

PURPOSE

The purposes for which this club was organized is to conserve, restore, and manage the game, fish and other wildlife and its habitat in Lorain County, Medina County and adjacent lands; to seek to procure better fishing and hunting for sportsmen; to co-operate in obtaining proper respect for, and observation of, the fish and game laws, and so far as possible to spread knowledge of useful wildlife.

The association shall operate without profit, and shall be non-sectarian, and non-political.
